Slayer Racks
Standard Rack of 32
Despite having the standard rack sizes of 8, 10, 16, and 20, there was a demand for a larger solution that was user-friendly and space-efficient for most homes. After numerous design iterations, we introduced the standard rack of 32. The aim was to create a practical rack that maximized storage capacity.
It features evenly spaced countered rod holders to effectively accommodate bulky equipment. Known for its adaptability and generous spacing, this rack can securely hold heavy tackle such as 30s, as well as 50s, and can accommodate 80s, 130s, and LPs in the end rod holders.
Crafted from furniture-grade lumber, secured with nails, glue, and screws for maximum strength. After meticulous hand sanding for a flawless finish, it is stained in your choice of gray or black, and finished off with installing 0-degree 316 stainless steel rod holders.

Caring for Your Slayer Rack
Your Slayer Rack is built to last, but a little routine care will keep it looking and performing its best for years to come.
Standard Racks (Furniture-Grade Lumber)
- Dust regularly — Wipe down with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth to remove dust and debris
- Clean gently — Use a mild soap-and-water solution for deeper cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners that can damage the stain
- Avoid prolonged moisture — Standard racks are designed for indoor or covered use. Wipe up any spills or moisture promptly to protect the wood finish
- Keep out of direct sunlight — Extended UV exposure can fade the stain over time. Position your rack away from direct sun when possible
- Rod holders — Your 316 stainless steel holders are corrosion-resistant, but wiping them down after contact with saltwater will keep them looking pristine
Washdown & Truck Racks (Marine-Grade Starboard)
- Hose it down — These racks are built to get wet. After a day on the water, simply hose off your rack along with your gear
- Soap when needed — For tougher grime, salt buildup, or fish residue, use a mild boat soap and a soft brush
- Waterproof HDPE — Starboard is a waterproof HDPE that's built for the elements and won't delaminate. Storing under cover when not in use will extend its life even further
- Stainless hardware — All hardware is stainless steel and corrosion-resistant. A quick freshwater rinse after saltwater exposure is all it needs
General Tips
- Always remove rods and reels before cleaning your rack
- Check fasteners periodically and tighten if needed

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything you need to know about Slayer Racks.
What materials are used?
Our standard racks are crafted from premium lumber imported from New Zealand, selected for appearance, strength, and durability. Each rack is secured with nails, glue, and screws, meticulously hand-sanded, stained in your choice of gray or black, and fitted with marine-grade 316 stainless steel rod holders.
Our washdown racks use 3/4" marine-grade starboard — a waterproof HDPE that's built for the elements and won't delaminate — with pressure-treated lumber frames and all-stainless steel hardware. Truck racks also use 3/4" starboard with a 1/2" aluminum sub frame and all-stainless steel hardware — no wood anywhere in the build.
What size rods and reels will it hold?
Our racks accommodate a wide range of tackle. Standard racks easily support 30s, 50s, and 80s, with end holders fitting 130-class and LP reels. Electric racks feature 30-degree holders designed specifically for heavy electric reels on bent or adjustable butts.
How does shipping work?
All Slayer Racks ship via freight. Shipping cost varies by delivery address — we'll provide an exact quote before you purchase. Local pickup is also available at our Pompano Beach, FL workshop.
Can I customize my rack?
Absolutely! We offer custom rod counts, spacing configurations, bent butt accommodations, color choices, and more. Our teak racks are built entirely to order. Contact us through the Request a Quote page and we'll design the perfect rack for your setup.
Can these racks be used outdoors?
Our Indoor/Outdoor Washdown racks are built for outdoor use — black 3/4" starboard, pressure-treated frames, all-stainless components. Hose down your gear, towel off the rack, and wheel it inside. Standard racks are best for indoor or covered use.
How long does it take to build and ship?
Please allow 3–4 weeks for your rack to be built before it ships. Custom builds and teak racks may take longer depending on materials and complexity. We'll give you an estimated timeline when you place your order or request a quote.
